Ian Plimer, Ph.D. is former professor of mining geology at the University of Adelaide and emeritus professor of Earth sciences at the University of Melbourne. He has published more than 130 scientific papers and seven bestselling books, including Heaven and Earth, Not for Greens, and Green Murder. He is a fellow of the Geological Society (London).
