About Roy W. Spencer

Roy W. Spencer, Ph.D. is principal research scientist at the University of Alabama in Huntsville and U.S. Science Team Leader for NASA's AMSR instrument on the Aqua satellite. He and John Christy received NASA's Exceptional Scientific Achievement Medal for satellite global temperature monitoring and he has testified to Congress on global warming.
