Amanda Maxham, Ph.D. is a research associate at the Ayn Rand Institute, writing and speaking on science and environmentalism including climate change and energy. She holds a Ph.D. in physics from UNLV, where her work on gamma-ray burst astronomy appeared in international journals. She founded and directed UNLV's high-altitude weather balloon research program.
