Lee Zeldin was sworn in as the 17th Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on January 29, 2025. He served 22 years in the military, deploying to Iraq as a paratrooper with the Army's 82nd Airborne Division, and served in the New York State Senate (2011-2014) and U.S. Congress representing New York's 1st District (2015-2023).
