Biography

About Neil Frank

Neil Frank (1931–2025) was a pioneering meteorologist who served as director of the National Hurricane Center from 1974 to 1987, where he developed the probability forecast cone still in use today. He later served as chief meteorologist at KHOU-TV in Houston for over 20 years and was a skeptic of anthropogenic climate change.
