Tom Harris has 47 years of experience as a mechanical engineer, science communicator, and technical trainer. For the past 18 years he has worked with scientists and engineers to promote a sensible approach to climate and energy topics. From 2009 to 2011 he taught Climate Change: an Earth Sciences Perspective to 1,500 students at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada.
