Charles Battig, M.D. is a retired physician with a postgraduate degree in electrical engineering. He served as principal scientist in bio-medical monitoring systems at North American Aviation in support of the Apollo Moon Mission, and held the rank of senior surgeon/commander in the U.S. Public Health Service at the National Institutes of Health. He has provided an alternate voice on climate change issues since retirement.
