Biography

About David Legates

David R. Legates, Ph.D. is a former professor of climatology at the University of Delaware. He co-developed methods to correct bias in gauge-measured precipitation data and is founder of the Delaware Environmental Observing System. Currently serving on the President's Committee on the National Medal of Science, he has published more than 125 articles and made over 250 professional presentations.
