Mitch Taylor has worked on polar bears for the past 30 years and was the polar bear biologist for the Northwest Territories and Nunavut Territory, Canada for more than 20 years. He has been a continuing member of the IUCN/SSC Polar Bear Specialists Group and Canada's Federal Provincial Polar Bear Technical Committee.
