About Willie Soon

Willie Soon, Ph.D. is an astrophysicist and geoscientist widely recognized as a leading authority on the Sun's influence on Earth's climate. For more than 34 years, he has investigated Sun-Earth relations across meteorology, climate dynamics, and orbital interactions. In 2018, he co-founded the Center for Environmental Research and Earth Sciences (CERES). His research consistently challenges underestimation of solar variability.
